Pressing Instructions
YOU MUST HAVE A HEAT PRESS for single color, puff prints, and clear film screen prints! THESE WILL NOT WORK WITH A HOME IRON. For our HTV transfers, an easy press can be used, however, we recommend a heat press for correct application and so your image can last on the garment longer.
Single Color:
- Temperature: 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- Pre Press for 5 seconds to get moisture out
- Time: 7 Seconds
- Heavy Pressure
- Hot Peel
Puff Prints:
- Temperature: 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- Pre Press for 5 seconds to get moisture out
- Time: 7 Seconds
- Heavy Pressure
- Hot Peel
HTV (grid backing)
- Temperature: 310 degrees Fahrenheit
- Pre Press for 5 seconds to get moisture out
- Time: 15 Seconds
- Heavy Pressure
- Hot Peel
- Re press for 5 seconds with Teflon cover.
Clear film screen prints (rough backing)
- Temperature: 320 degrees Fahrenheit
- Pre Press for 5 seconds to get moisture out
- Time: 10 Seconds
- Heavy Pressure
- Hot Peel
GLOW IN THE DARK SCREEN PRINTS
- Temperature: 320 degrees Fahrenheit
- Pre Press for 5 seconds to get moisture out
- Time: 10 Seconds
- Heavy Pressure
- Hot Peel
DTF (direct to film)
-Set heat press to 320 F.
-Set pressure to high.
-Prepress garment to remove moisture.
-Place DTF transfer on garment and press for 15 seconds.
-Peel DTF transfer WARM
-Cover with Teflon and press 5 more seconds.
Chenille Patches
- Set heat press to 330-350 degrees on heavy pressure
- Lay patches on garment, cover with Teflon sheet and press for 20 seconds.
- Turn garment inside out, press for 15 seconds no Teflon sheet.
- Avoid washing with softener, and dry on low setting.
